Quello degli JEDI è un mitico ordine cavalleresco, realmente esistente, anche se rimasto nell’ombra da tempo immemorabile.

The Jedi are a legendary knightly order, truly existing, though it has remained in the shadows for time immemorial.

Nella memoria inconscia dell’uomo, però, ne è rimasta una traccia: per questo gli autori di “Guerre Stellari” sono stati ispirati a scriverne.

In the unconscious memory of man, however, a trace of it remains: this is why the creators of "Star Wars" were inspired to write about it.

Se, da un lato, quel film ha riportato alla coscienza di moltissime persone l’argomento, d’altro canto lo ha messo, nella loro mente, tra le opere di fantasia; così la maggioranza ora fatica a credere che gli Jedi esistano veramente.

On one hand, that movie brought the subject to the consciousness of many people; on the other hand, it placed it in their minds among works of fiction. As a result, most people now struggle to believe that the Jedi truly exist.

A complicare le cose ci si mette il tipico modo di fare degli Jedi: infatti uno Jedi non dirà mai e poi mai di esser tale, specialmente a chi non potrebbe capire.
